As part of its strategic expansion in aviation fuel infrastructure, Petronoor has officially commenced construction of its new JET A-1 Fuel Depot at Port Sudan Airport (PZU). The project represents a significant step in strengthening the company’s presence in the aviation fueling sector and enhancing fuel supply reliability at one of Sudan’s key aviation hubs.
The new depot is designed to provide secure and efficient storage and handling of JET A-1 aviation fuel, ensuring uninterrupted supply to airlines operating at Port Sudan Airport. The facility will incorporate modern storage systems, advanced pumping and filtration units, and specialized aviation fueling infrastructure developed in accordance with international aviation fuel standards.
Petronoor emphasized that the depot will be constructed and operated under the highest Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulatory requirements. Comprehensive safety systems, environmental protection measures, and strict operational controls will be integrated throughout the facility to ensure safe handling, storage, and distribution of aviation fuel.
